Very cool graphics. Like a real life in-motion diorama. Here's a great local story from the PNW with amazing time lapse destruction videos of two damns that previously blocked the remote Elwha river. Hope you like them.

Glad you guys like. It is a cool technique that works well on things like construction sites.
Once you live with that noise in your life for a period of time I don't think you will ever forget it.

Awesome. The way you've zoomed in here, they look like toys. Our town just built a fancy courthouse after tearing down the old one, right next door to our office. The new one was bigger, and therefore needed a deeper foundation/basement. We sit on solid rock. This is what we heard every day for weeks...

Yeah, it was down to three songs and this one seemed to fit best. Hand to move things around a bit but overall it works.

Hi George. Thank you for your very informative post. This page still gets some daily traffic and I would like to see some photos of the area once your 'puter is able. It has taken so long, like you say, for the High Knob Overlook road to be repaired so I worry about how long it will take them to complete the necessary work to be completed now.

Hi People,
My wife and I were in Forksville today, October 9th 2011.

The town looks to be pretty much back to normal after the September 2011 storms. The Forksville Bridge is intact and passable with no damage visable. Amazing!

The owner of the Forksville store says the basement of the store was flooded during the rains but the water never came into the main floor of the store. He said the evening they were evacuated that he did not know what he would come back to.

We could not get there from Eagles Mere and had to come in from the Dushore side. Rt 154 from Forksville to Worlds End State Park is closed with heavy damage. I think the park may be reached from LaPorte via Rt 154. The road to Worlds End from Eagles Mere is closed.

The High Knob Overlook road was damaged in Jan. 2010 and is closed for repairs? Roads to the Canyon Vista Overlook are closed.

I do not know if anybody is still reading this blog but I did take some nice pics of the town which I can not access on this puter while I am on the road. I could post one here if anybody is interested.

As a 30 year long fan/visitor to this area that as of this date Forksville is in good shape and Worlds End State Park will recover.
